Paisley Tours Announces First-Ever Halloween Experience

Paisley Tours is celebrating its first Halloween in Paisley town centre with a weekend of spooky experiences as part of the award-winning Paisley Halloween Festival 2025.

Taking place on Friday 24 and Saturday 25 October, the festival transforms Paisley into one of Scotland’s most atmospheric Halloween destinations, with a spectacular parade, live performances, street theatre, projections and family-friendly entertainment. For the first time, Paisley Tours is joining the action — and we’re going all-in.

The Witches Walking Tour – 16+ Only

Our acclaimed Witches Walking Tour returns for two special Halloween dates. This unique walking experience explores the chilling events of 1697, when Paisley became the site of Europe’s last mass witch hunt.

Guests will:

Walk through Paisley’s historic streets and closes

Hear the real stories of the seven accused “witches” and their tragic fate

Learn how the case shocked Scotland and changed attitudes to witchcraft trials

Stand at the site of the witches’ execution and memorial

The Spooky Crypt – Free Family Experience

Alongside the ticketed tour, Paisley Tours will be offering a free interactive crypt experience throughout festival hours. Visitors can explore a spooky crypt set within our shop at 2 County Place, featuring atmospheric lighting, eerie props and our first-ever animatronic character – Headless Harry.

This drop-in experience is perfect for:

Families looking for a quick, fun scare before the parade

Halloween selfie hunters

Anyone wanting to soak up the spooky atmosphere without booking a tour
