Paisley’s 12 Talks of Christmas: Twelve Nights of Stories, Heritage and Festive Cheer

This December, Paisley Tours invites locals and visitors to step inside the story of Scotland’s largest town with The 12 Talks of Christmas — a brand-new festive series of heritage evenings at the Paisley Tours Heritage Hub, 2 County Place.

Across twelve nights, local historians, artists and community voices will share the stories that made Paisley famous: the rise of the mills, the weaving of the Paisley Pattern, the songs of Robert Tannahill, the glory of St Mirren, and the hidden secrets of Paisley Abbey.

Tickets are just £9 (including booking fee and mince pies) and each talk is limited to 25 guests, creating a cosy, authentic atmosphere right in the heart of the town centre.

Why visit Paisley this Christmas

Once Scotland’s largest town, Paisley is now one of the country’s most exciting heritage destinations. From its medieval abbey and textile legacy to its music, art and community spirit, there’s no shortage of stories to discover — and The 12 Talks of Christmas brings them all together under one roof.

Founder Gavin Divers explains:

“We’ve welcomed over 2,000 visitors since launching Paisley Tours earlier this year. This new series keeps that energy going through winter — it’s about celebrating the people and stories that make Paisley special.”

Each evening offers a different theme, combining history, humour and community spirit — plus a mince pie and a warm welcome.
