Our Tours

Paisley is one of Scotland’s most overlooked historic towns. Its streets hold stories of kings and rebels, industry and invention, belief and injustice, all played out within a remarkably small area.

Paisley Tours offers research-led walking and storytelling experiences that explore these stories where they actually happened. We are a local social enterprise, based in the town centre, and every tour is delivered with care, accuracy and respect for the place and its people.

Historic Paisley Walking Tour

A guided walk through Paisley town centre exploring the people, places and events that shaped the town and its global influence. From medieval power struggles and royal connections to industry, invention and radical ideas, this tour reveals how much history is packed into a short walk.

Witches Walking Tour

A reflective walking tour examining the events of 1697, when Paisley was at the centre of the last mass execution for witchcraft in Europe. Grounded in historical records and social context, this experience explores belief, fear and injustice without myth or spectacle.

Darkside Evening Tours

An evening walking tour exploring crime, punishment, poverty and survival in historic Paisley. Told through real events and documented cases, this atmospheric experience focuses on the realities of life in earlier centuries rather than ghost stories or theatrical scares.
